The Plunge: Original Cold Plunge Tub

I think this is definitely the best ice plunge on the market. Looks great insulates extremely well and does exactly what I bought it for. Makes all the aches and pains go away. The customer service team was extremely helpful and I couldn’t recommend this company anymore.

I purchased the original cold plunge over two years ago and still use it to this day. Despite it still being shockingly cold to get in (set at 41 degrees), I love it. I honestly feel it has benefited me both physically and mentally. Think of it like 3 minutes of pain for 6 weeks of benefit. My daily routine is to jump in after a workout, and one of the side benefits is that I don’t sweat for an hour in my work clothes after exercising :)

I reviewed a lot of plunges and this one is the best one out there. Easy to set up and use. Was in it less than 6 hours after set up

Setup was a breeze, I had the unit up and running within an hour or two and was able to plunge the same day that it arrived. The unit it aesthetically beautiful, and runs incredibly quiet. I have it setup right outside our bedroom windows, and I cannot hear the chiller running at night. Still haven’t convinced my wife to get in, but the kids and myself are using it daily for recovery and loving it.

The only issue I had during setup was that there was an airlock on the filter and it did not start cycling water during the initial startup. I removed the cover and filter on the chiller and to let the water fill in, and everything was fine after that.

I’ve used the plunge for 18 straight days now and LOVE IT! Easy and straight forward set up. Once you get started you will not want to stop.! Come on jump in.

This has completely changed my every day life. It’s something you don’t think you really need, until you have it and realize just how much you’ve been missing. Is it a bad thing to say I look forward to doing this once in the morning and again before bed time. And it’s not like you can go full extreme coldest right out of the gate. My set goal is to incrementally go down to the coldest setting one degree at a time as my body adjust and allows for. I started off at 47 degrees and it seems to be working well for me so far at 4:20 average plunge times since I’ve gotten it.

The plunge has been a God send! With an active lifestyle that includes, the gym, cycling, golfing and PICKLEBALL I don't know what I would do without my PLUNGE!

I started cold plunge about 2 years ago. Beginning with a metal 150gal livestock trough (no, it wasn’t used) making trips to get 40lbs of ice every other day to ensure the water temp was below 50 became a real chore and added up $. When it got colder up here in the NE I used our in ground pool until the ice was just too relentless to break up... neither was ideal to say the least. Add in my wife and daughter and two sons, who had taken interest, I wanted to make it easier for everyone to do something not easy to do so, I did my homework and made and decision and bought our Plunge tub. It’s a big investment but in my experience and understanding of the process, it is absolutely worth every penny and every session spent box breathing while neck deep in 38 deg water. I highly recommend Plunge, the tub is not an eye sore and the support is top notch. You won’t regret it.

My son and I have been using our new Plunge for 50 days now. The results are great! We've learned how to strengthen our minds... Strong Mind = Strong Body. We also both agree recovery has improved. What in the past made use sore for 2-3 days now has been reduced to 1 day. Our overall health has been stellar in this time as well, even though we have been in contact with and/or around several family/friends who have been ill to some degree. The plunge is also super easy to use and maintain.

It’s not a pill, it’s not a nutrition plan, it’s not some crazy workout regiment….its cold water! Ever since using the cold plunge I have noticed 2 prevalent things:
1. My recovery from workouts and cardio is dramatically quicker.
2. My 2pm “slump” is almost gone where I don’t feel like I need a cup of coffee or some fresh air to keep me awake to make it through the day.
This is such an amazing product, well built, easy to set up and use! Highly recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with our Plunge! We have a fitness studio and purchased The Plunge so our staff could better recover their bodies. The app is easy to use and it’s nice to but able to set the temp remotely to make sure it is ready when needed.

I’ve now had the plunge for 22 days. I use it typically 5 days a week working my way down from the mid to high 50s temp to mid to high 40s. The bluetooth features have been extremely easy to use and keeping the plunge clean has been very straight forward using the protocols provided. Plunging at the colder temps has very much helped my joint inflammation around my shoulders and knees specifically. For someone that does hard Jiu-Jitsu competition training several days a week coupled with strength HIIT sessions, it was critical to incorporate a dependable cold plunge option. I’ll recommend the product at this point.

As someone who struggles with depression, this product has literally saved my life. My mental, emotional, and physical health have never been better since I started using The Plunge 7 months ago. Michael & Ryan, you are literally saving lives with this product. Keep up the excellent work.

Love it! I work out every morning and bc I never stretch and am naturally as flexible as a 2X4, my lower back pain has progressively gotten more prevalent as I age. My wife purchased for my birthday and have only been doing this a week but immediately noticed some relief there.. Ive used these plunges where offered at various gyms, but having at the house is a game changer. Need to lower the temp to sub-50 here soon!

Happy with the Plunge XL. I’m 5’6 and the original size felt too small. The XL allows for room to fully submerge and stretch out.

We have the chiller and we upgraded from the air plunge, we love the Tub.

Packaged with care, easy to setup (pipe placement is odd but fine once it’s all connected). Wi-fi capability is great, plunge stays easily at desired temp. Can comfortably stretch out inside and the top fits great.

My Plunge arrived two weeks ago in perfect condition. It was packaged exquisitely, and it took me about 30 minutes to unpack and set up. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this product and the ease of setup. I've used it every day since its arrival and could not be more pleased with my purchase.
